This project is central to our mission of revolutionizing how we deliver value to our customers. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, resilient, and user-centric features. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in leading a technical team focused on developing with TypeScript, Next.js, NestJS and cloud technologies to drive forward a transformative project that will redefine our business for years.

  • Conducting code reviews and pair programming to support the production of clean, quality code

  • Advocating and implementing DevOps practices to streamline the product development lifecycle

  • Participating in the support rota for out-of-hours technical assistance

  • Contributing to and leading product group objectives, mentoring less experienced engineers, and fostering a culture of learning and improvement

  • Focusing on software development metrics, continuously seeking improvement

  • Actively participating in product planning, roadmap development, and promoting innovative approaches

  • Contribute to the growth of Recharge.com through recruitment efforts and proactively share your knowledge to help your colleagues grow.

What You Have

  • Experience with key leadership roles as a Staff Engineer, Tech Lead, or Principal Engineer, effectively guiding technical teams

  • Deep proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest and Playwright, with several years of experience in developing and implementing robust testing strategies

  • Proven track record of working on large-scale products, impacting millions of users globally

  • Extensive background in microservices architecture and cloud services, especially AWS, with a strong commitment to scalable, maintainable systems.

  • Solid foundation in continuous integration and deployment practices, with hands-on experience using GitHub Actions for streamlined release cycles

  • Proven ability to drive impactful initiatives, enhancing productivity, performance, and quality in both technical and business contexts

  • A strong communicator, skilled at engaging in technical discussions, generating innovative ideas, and working autonomously or collaboratively

  • Focused on customer experience and driven by a strong business acumen, always aligning technical decisions with business objectives.
