The Role
We're looking for a talented professional with expertise in Data Engineering, Data Automation, Python, and SQL to join our Marketing Automation team. You'll play a key role in scaling our platform as we strive to lead the branded payments industry. What will I do?
Develop and implement streamlined data connections to ensure data is available for key stakeholder
Design, test, deploy, and monitor new automations to enhance smarter, more efficient, and effective marketing processes
Evaluate existing automations and propose innovative enhancements to improve their efficiency and effectiveness
Review, test, and implement changes to our production systems, carefully assessing their impact on end-user experience. Monitor system performance, communicate emerging issues to relevant internal stakeholders, and lead the development of scalable, robust solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes, recommend automation solutions, and evaluate the potential impact and benefits of their implementation for the organization
Oversee the marketing tooling suite to ensure an efficient setup that effectively addresses all use cases across channels, customer engagement, and performance metrics
Ensure the data infrastructure and quality align with stakeholder expectations, facilitating effective decision-making and actionable insights
Create and manage a unified customer view by integrating data from various sources into a single platform. Develop strategies to enrich this dataset, supporting expanded use cases for marketing initiatives
Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, data engineering, business intelligence) to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and drive process optimization.
What You Have
Solid knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL
Proficient in identifying strategic business opportunities and developing solutions that deliver meaningful impact. This includes analyzing complex challenges, breaking them down into actionable components, and assuming full ownership throughout the project's entire lifecycle.
Experience in developing and executing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and transform large datasets for segmentation, reporting, and automation purposes
Strong understanding of the core principles and practices that form the foundation for building effective data solutions
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using workflow management tools
Experience building and operating services in a public cloud (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
A pragmatic, customer-centric approach to software design. You are aware of commonly applied design concepts and principles and are capable of articulating your perspective to gain alignment during design discussions
Proven track record of automation projects built for marketing purposes
Experience with email marketing tools is a plus.
